UPMT Entrance Exam 2014 notice

Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture, Pantnagar is going to conduct Entrance Exam of Uttarakhand Pre Medical Test(U.P.M.T.) 2014 for admission in M.B.B.S. and B.D.S. courses for State Quota Seat.

Admission to the government quota seats of MBBS and BDS will be given to qualified candidates in Entrance Exam on Merit basis.

Age Limit: Minimum 17 years and maximum 25 years as on 31-Dec-2014. For SC/ST/OBC candidates as relaxation will be given as per government rules.


Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed intermediate or equivalent examination in Science Biology Group with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English. The average of total marks passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology must be at least 50% for Gen category candidate and 40% for SC/ST/OBC category candidates and 45% for disabled candidates.

Date of sale of Application form and Prospectus: 21-March-2014
Last Date of sale of Application form and Prospectus: 17-April-2014
Last date and time of application at the university by speed post/registered post or by hand: 21-April-2014 till 5:00 PM.
U.P.M.T. Entrance exam Date 2014: 18-May-2014 (10:00 AM to 1:00 PM)

Application Form Fees: Rs. 1700/- for Gen/OBC category candidates and  Rs. 1200/- for SC/ST category candidate. + Rs. 40/- postal charges for all category candidate.
